School, School and More School

Most people dislike school and couldn't think of anything worse, not me! I really like school and enjoy it most of the time, I don't mind getting up early everyday to see all my friends and do school work. Everyday I have to get up at 5am and be out of the house just before 6:30am to catch the bus to school, and don't get home until 5pm. It is so tiring to do 5 days a week, I usually only have limited time to do school work as I'm usually in bed by 8pm because I'm always so tired.

The first day of high school was so frightening I didn't know what to do, all these big people surrounding me. It did take quiet a while to get used to the fact that I was in high school and everything will be changing, I missed primary school so much. In year eight I had pretty good grades ranging from A's to B's, that was the same as year nine, all though I had a few C's. Throughout year ten my marks dropped down to only one or two B's and the rest C's, and a few D's. Unfortunately I didn't do very well last year, this is only because of the few family and life changing things that occurred earlier on during the year.

I am now year eleven and trying to do well this year because I don't want to see another shocking school report, it doesn't look great at all. The classes I'm currently studying are Maths, English, Religion, Children Family and The Community, Food and Business, I love all my classes except Maths, it's seriously so boring. Religion is also not a favourite only because I'm not religious but still willing to learn and attend a catholic school, I enjoy coming to school each day! This year I am also doing workplace learning at a childcare centre, it's really fun being around little toddlers all day. The only thing is the 9 hour shift, it is so exhausting! I attend the childcare every Thursday, it's a great experience.

I have the most amazing friends I could ever ask for and support every single on of them, I have met so many amazing people from school and its definitely a great feeling to have friends that are always there for you, for school and home life.
